A record 281 drivers competed in the five-day event which saw 45 multi-car teams compete in the race events. Wilke-PAK was one of six multi-car teams to place more than one car into Saturday Night's 25-car Championship Feature event.
Jerry Coons: Led the first 27-laps of Saturday's Championship feature, before finishing in fourth place. Friday Night Coons led the entire distance to capture the 25-lap Friday Night preliminary feature.
Dave Darland: Finished sixth in Saturday's Championship feature. Darland finished second in the Thursday Night preliminary feature falling short of victory lane by 0.12 seconds. Darland also finished second in Tuesday Night's Race of Champions event.
Terry McCarl: Finished tenth in Tuesday's preliminary feature. McCarl fell short of making his second straight Chili Bowl for the team in Saturday's B-Feature.
Tim McCreadie: Finished third in Tuesday Night's Race of Champions event. While leading the first qualifying race on Wednesday Night, McCreadie was involved in one of the most dramatic accidents in the 23-year history of the event. McCreadie suffered a broken rear axle, before entering Turn 1, causing his car to flip over the first turn fence, landing on track preparation equipment.
McCreadie suffered a fracture in his T-3 vertebrae. McCreadie has movement in all of his extremities, is currently in Indianapolis receiving treatment before returning to his Watertown, NY residence for additional treatment.
